Radioactive Wolves of Chernobyl

Wildlife Reclaims Wilderness in Chernobyl.

When humans fled, wildlife took over. On April 26, 1986, disaster struck the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. Strangely the nuclear accident has not created a desert but a lush wilderness.

It has even invited the very symbol of the wild, the Grey Wolf.
